In Audrey and Don Wood's book, The Napping House, you'll find a cute old granny, with some of her favorite friends, napping on a rainy day! The book provides a wonderful opportunity for us to sing about the story and retell what really happened as the story unfolds. Our discussion of morning and nighttime routines fits nicely into this little scenario, too. Each girl got to choose a character and the "audience" helped me sing the song as they watched each other perform! Lookout, Broadway!
Watch the videos below and be sure to ask your girls about all the characters in the story and some new words they learned that mean the same thing as sleeping!
