The girls were SO excited to be back at school and to see their friends. They seemed to return to school a little older and more grown up than when we said goodbye before the holidays. They are choosing work around the room on their own and completing work independently. They remember our routines and have been quick to get back into the swing of things at school. We are so proud of them and really glad to have them back!
The activities around the room this week have been about winter and snow. We have also included things to explore that will hopefully pique their interest and curiosity about wheels and how things work.
Weaving in the Wheel
Exploring in the Workshop
Working on the Railroad
Creating trains and cars with shapes and using problem-solving skills to draw what they see.
ABC's with snowmen and creating snowmen with playdough.
Here's hoping for some REAL snow!
