So much of pre-kindergarten is about independence – your little girls becoming less dependent on you, their parents, and gaining an increasing ability to do things on their own. It can be a frustrating and rewarding time all wrapped up together. Frustrating for you because you have to wait a little longer for them to “do it themselves.” Frustrating for them because they are still learning HOW to do it themselves. But the rewards! The sense of accomplishment for them! The excitement of success at learning something new and mastering a new skill! The joy you have as you see them learning and growing and becoming more independent!
Part of that independence involves a lot of fine motor development! We focus on strengthening those little muscles all throughout the year. Many of our centers focus on just that – using their little hands and strengthening those little muscles. Here’s a peek into how those little hands have been working this week! They have been VERY busy!
