Our plants have finally gotten big enough to go in the ground. We found a place on our playground where we could plant them and watch them. We added some dirt and mixed it all in and made our beds. We planted them, watered them and now all we have to do is watch them grow and bloom. The girls did not like to get their hands dirty, but finally decided to "dig in" and then had so much fun.
Here are some of our centers this week that the girls have enjoyed.
Working with clay helps develop our small motor skills and encourages creativity.
Working with wire develops problem solving and critical thinking.
Writing and drawing with pen and ink encourages recalling and observation skills.
