The girls have had a very busy week! It is important that they feel the joy of giving to others. We have done several activities that have engaged them in the process of "doing for others" and that it can make your heart very happy! Our bird feeders were our gift to the birds, we made gingerbread cookies for the sweet ladies in the dining hall that serve us lunch each day, and they have also loved creating Christmas cards for their friends and "mailing" them to their friends cubbies! We, of course, are also making some very special gifts for our parents they are excited to give to each family! Next week, we will be doing an experiment with peppermint candy canes and making candy cane ornaments for Mrs. Rounder's JK class. We will have some pictures and documentation of that experiment next week so be sure and visit next weeks blog, plus pictures of our Christmas celebration on Wednesday. We look forward to next weeks program and party. They have practiced very hard and it will, for sure, put you in the Christmas spirit! We will see everyone at the program and those moms who signed up for the Christmas party afterwards for lunch and party. The Christmas joy continues!!
