The girls have LOVED talking about the beautiful ocean, what lives there, and how it really is a world of its own! We have worked on our collaborative mural for several weeks. We have added layer by layer using a variety of materials, and as our last step to completion, began to create our Eric Carle sea life to put the final touches on our project. In our Eric Carle study we have painted many layers of tissue to create our sea life for the beautiful and wonderful ocean mural. It has been an exciting project, filled with incredible art techniques, creativity, and the joy of watching the girls cultivate their creativity and curiosity about the ocean. These collaborative murals will hang in the Pre-K activity center so be sure to take a look when you are in our building. In our morning meeting each girl got to add their Eric Carle ocean art as we added the final part to our wonderfully created "The Ocean, Down In the Deep Blue Sea!"
