The girls love creating stories together, and we thought this was a great one! We talk about authors and illustrators often so they become familiar with the job each of these titles include. This week, THEY are the author and illustrator of the following story!
"Once upon a time there was a little fish named Bobbie who lived in the ocean. There was also a BIG whale named Tank in the ocean. Along came a medium size octopus named Tank 2, but he only had seven legs instead of eight because he had cut off one of his legs with a seashell because it was itching. There was a rainbow fish in the water too. Along came a shark and gobbled up Bobbie! All of a sudden a scuba diver appeared and he was coming to catch the shark. The fish were all friends and they decided together to swim to a swim shop. They bought swimming suits and sea food at the shop. When they came out of the shop they spotted a blue pirate ship in the distance and also a red ship that had Dory and Nemo swimming in the water. Meanwhile Tank, the Octopus 2, was tickling all the fish in the ocean. Mr Pushkin, the scuba diver, had a net and he was trying to catch the sharks. All the fish were hiding in the seaweed to get away from the sharks. They were hidden so well that the sharks never found any more fish to eat. All the fish in the story lived happily ever after.
